Starting from 2014, ANO ProfDialogue has been implementing various programs aimed at helping patients with severe and chronic conditions and introduction of advanced medical technologies into clinical practice.
The programs are aimed at:
- Improving patients' QoL through better adherence, promotion of healthy living and raising awareness of the medical community about the latest treatment advances.
- Improving the knowledge of best practices among the healthcare providers.
- Focusing public attention on particular medical conditions such as epilepsy and CVD.
The programs include organizing and conducting trainings, webinars, lectures and workshops that engage clinicians, patients and their relatives.
Patient Schools for patients with epilepsy and their families
In 2015, ProfDialogue initiated a program to support the development of epileptology in Russia.
"Life After a Heart Attack" Program
The educational program to support patients who had experienced a heart attack was started in 2014.
During the first year, about 1000 Patient Schools were conducted in various regions of of the country, which were attended by over 5000 patients. In 2015, another 1,500 Patient Schools, engaging 200 cardiologists and more than 8,000 patients were held in 80 Russian cities.
