ProfDialogue implements various projects aimed at supporting patients and raising awareness among the medical community about the best practices in treatment of severe and chronic conditions.
The recovery process and enhancing the health-related quality of life is influenced not only by medical interventions, but also a host of other factors. Training patients in self-management, improving adherence to treatment, establishing communication with governmental and non-governmental agencies providing support and care - all of these issues have a significant impact on patient’s well-being.
Our Center is focused on promoting the social and community-based projects, such as Patient Schools, charity projects, gatherings and festivities for patients and many others in order to:
- Improve the quality of life of patients and inform them of the state-of-the-art treatments available
- Emphasize importance of adherence and healthy living
- Raise awareness among health practitioners about the current standards and best practices in treatment, care and service provision
- Identify and highlight the problems facing patients and their families
This also includes organizing and conducting relevant workshops, web-seminars, lectures, and trainings for physicians, patients and their families.
